We are currently casting the roles of:

​

June Muldoon (she/her, any race and ethnicity, 15)

June is precocious, bright, and eager to grow up. She misses her father and loves her mother fiercely. A hardworker, June dreams of living a life larger than the one she inhabits now.

​

Galen Gray (he/him, any race and ethnicity, 20-40)

A doctor with a fear of blood. He is a man of good humor and deep faith. He loves deeply and thinks broadly. He gets more than he bargained for when his hot air balloon crashes in Gray, Indiana. Always feels a little out of place.

​

Rebekah Muldoon (she/her, any race and ethnicity, 30-40)

June's mother. She's been dealt a difficult blow with the death of her husband. Pragmatic to a fault, but a warm and gentle caretaker.

​

Pastor Phineas Wingfield (he/him, any race and ethnicity, 30-60)

A man of strong convictions. A devout and sincere believer trying to help his parishioners in the only way he knows how.

​

Tiny Wingfield (she/her, any race and ethnicity, 30-60)

Phineas's sister. Sweet and generally pleased with how her life has gone, though she still has the spirit of a dreamer.

​

Crutch Collins (he/him, any race and ethnicity, 40-60)

A blacksmith. a Salt-of-the-Earth kind of man.

​

Belva Collins (she/her, any race and ethnicity, 40-60)

His wife. Strong, no-nonsense... well, she could maybe tolerate a little nonsense, just every once in a while. 

​

Maggie (she/her, any race and ethnicity, 30-70)

An enterprising businesswoman, driven by her morals but willing to turn a blind eye "in the name of commerce."

​

Homer (he/him, any race and ethnicity, 17)

A sweet, country boy desperately sweet on June. Probably had to grow up faster than he was ready for.
