MUCH ADO
ABOUT NOTHING
MAY 11 & 12, 2022 at 7pm at EOLA HILLS WINE CELLARS
“LET ME BE THAT I AM AND SEEK NOT TO ALTER ME.”
Trickery and treachery take center stage in Shakespeare’s beloved romantic comedy. Merry banterers Beatrice and Benedick fall into love, while Hero and Claudio fall out of it. Directed by Hannah Fawcett (S&F's Dear Brutus, Cymbeline, As You Like It), this queer interpretation of Shakespeare’s big hearted comedy promises love lost, love won, and a looney cast of characters.

Claire Snyder - Beatrice
This is Claire’s 3rd season with S&F. She has been seen treading the boards as Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Ghost of Christmas Past / Belle in A Christmas Carol. Outside of S&F, Claire has been involved with Gallery Theater and Salem Theatre Network in a variety of capacities, and cannot wait to get to spend some time with the bard again. When not onstage, Claire is a social justice activist finishing her Bachelor’s degree in History with an emphasis on Queer and Ethnic studies. A huge thanks to S&F for the opportunity to experience and perform Shakespeare in fresh and vivid ways, and to my partners and amazing kids, Ryan, Violette, Ell and Oakly.
Many thanks to S&F for creating inclusivity, accessibility and representation in theater.
