LITTLE WOMEN

This is Hannah's 8th season with S&F. She is the founding Artistic Director of the company. She directed Anatomy of Gray, Much Ado About Nothing, Dear Brutus, and A Christmas Carol with S&F. Most recently, Hannah directed The Yellow Boat for Dallas High School which was 1 of only 2 plays selected to perform at the Oregon State Thespian Conference for over 1,000 Thespians and Theatre teachers from across the state! Hannah was last seen on S&F's stage as Imogen in S&F's 2018 production of Cymbeline. Select performance credits include As You Like It and Polar Bears, Black Boys & Prairie Fringed Orchids at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and as Viola de Lesseps in Shakespeare in Love and Olivia in Twelfth Night at Valley Shakespeare Company.

Hannah holds a BFA in Acting from Southern Oregon University. She was also a member of the Apprentice Company at Third Rail Repertory. She lives in the Willamette Valley with her partner, Terry, and their puppy!

Cathy is thrilled to have her first experience with Struts & Frets in Little Women. Last year, she starred in Keizer Homegrown Theatre's A Doll's House Part 2 as Nora Helmer. In addition to acting in several plays at KHT, she has performed in ten shows at Gallery Theater in McMinnville and attended acting workshops at Pentacle Theatre. Favorite roles include Pat Nixon in Tea For Three, Mother in A Christmas Story, and Ethel Rogers in And Then There Were None.

Cathy represents Gallery Theater on the Mid-Valley Theatre Network board and enthusiastically supports the theatre community at large. She works in HR at McMinnville School District and makes time for food and travel adventures with hubby Jason.

This is Claire's 6th season with S&F and is constantly in awe of the opportunity to work with a cast of such committed and talented artists. Little Women is a story that has been with her since childhood, and she is so grateful to get to perform this interpretation of the timeless story.

With S&F, Claire has graced the stage as Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, and most recently as Rebekah Muldoon in Anatomy of Gray. Claire also took part in two virtual S&F productions, A Christmas Carol and Dear Brutus in 2020-2021, as well as costuming for a variety of productions during those 6 years. Locally, Claire has been seen onstage in productions such as The Cake (Macy), Little Shop of Horrors (Crystal),and many others. Directing credits include Enchanted April with Keizer Homegrown in 2019, Talking With in 2021 and And Then There Were None in 2022. 

Claire is an IA at Howard Street Charter School, freelance IDEA Educator (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility), and Costume Designer and instructor with Children's Educational Theater. She resides in Keizer, Oregon with her partner, two amazing children, and two adorable but chaotic dogs. In her "spare time" she enjoys quilting, studying underrepresented history, and gardening.

Tessa is overjoyed to be working on her first production with Struts & Frets, she is so honored to be working with such a phenomenal group of creatives on such a timeless show. They are currently pursuing a BA in theater alongside a minor in dance, and hope to continue performing for as long as they can. Some of her most recent  on stage credits include Farrah is Western Oregon University’s She Kills Monsters, and Ethel Toffelmier in the John G. Shedd production of The Music Man. Tessa would like to take this time and space to thank all of her theatrical mentors who have helped her to become the artist and person she is today. 

This is Maddie’s fourth season with Struts & Frets. She has previously been seen on S&F’s stage as Tom Snout in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Fan/Martha in A Christmas Carol, and Caius Lucius in Cymbeline. Other performance credits include Minka Lupino in Murderers with Snowy Range Summer Theatre, KHawk in Black Sky with Relative Theatrics, and Feste in Twelfth Night with Valley Shakespeare. She began her college career at the University of Wyoming (BFA Musical Theatre), and will be graduating this spring from Western Oregon University with a BA in Theatre Arts.

This is Celsea’s first production with S&F and she is so excited to work with such an outstanding, hardworking, talented and kind group of theater artists. Recent roles in the Willamette Valley include 5-6 Shakespeare characters (Trinculo and Helena were favorites) in Happy 10th Birthday, KHT! Marmee in Finding Jo March and Elizabeth in Book of Will, all with Keizer Homegrown Theatre. Favorite roles from way, way back are Nightingale in The Conference of the Birds, Shelly in Buried Child, Nora in A Doll’s House, Lady Larken in Once Upon a Mattress, and Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof.

Celsea holds a BA in Drama and American Studies from Kenyon College and has lived and worked all over the country, mostly facilitating experiential education. She is very happy to finally find her permanent home in Portland, Oregon where she enjoys food cart sampling, neighborhood strolling, general performing arts appreciation, reading, yoga, meditation and getting out into the PNW wilds as much as possible.

Wyatt is an interdisciplinary artist born and raised in the Willamette Valley. He is a resident company member here at S&F returning for his 3rd season. He is currently a student at Western Oregon University pursuing a BFA in Acting and a BA in The Arts with concentrations in Music, Dance, and Theatre Arts. Performance credits include Dad in Greybeard Productions’ film ⅞, Brian in the Oregon Contemporary Theatre’s production of Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley, and Homer in Struts & Fret's production of Anatomy of Gray.

Offstage credits include dialect coach for Valley Shakespeare’s production of Shakespeare In Love and directing i believe in a republic in which money has a great deal to say at Western Oregon University. He can also be found singing and dancing, devising original works, and playing the cello and alto saxophone. Upcoming projects include the Spring Dance Concert at Western Oregon University. Jesse is excited to be participating in his second season with Struts & Frets Theater
Company and was last seen as Polixines in The Winter’s Tale. He was also in the 2023
Corvallis Majestic Theater production of Sweeney Todd having fulfilled a lifelong dream to play the notorious Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd. Jesse studied theater at the University of California at Santa Cruz. Other favorite roles have included Bobby in Company as part of Tom Lehrer’s American Musical class, Lazar Wolf in the 2015 Corvallis School District production of Fiddler on the Roof and Leonato in the 2017 production of Much Ado About Nothing with the Valley Shakespeare Company. In his spare time, Jesse enjoys taking walks with his emotionally-needy labrador retriever, Shadow, and hanging out with his two children. Jesse encourages theatergoers to support S&F, this wonderful company that is providing theater education while producing some of the most exciting performances in the Willamette valley.

This is Teresa's 1st season with S&F. Most recently, Teresa appeared in the cast of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time at Pentacle Theatre. Other selected performance credits include And Then There Were None and The Graduate at Gallery Theater,and It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, All My Sons, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Dancing at Lughnasa at Pentacle Theatre. She has also been an assistant director, stage manager, and lighting technician at theaters throughout the Willamette Valley.She works for the State of Oregon and lives in Salem with her husband, Ross. This is Elliot's third show with Struts & Frets! She has been previously seen in S&F's productions of Anatomy of Gray as June Muldoon, and The Winter's Tale as Emilia/Dorcas. Some of her other acting credits include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Molly in Peter and the Starcatcher, and Lydia Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, all with Dallas High School. Elliot enjoys writing plays just as much as being in them, and is the recipient of the Oregon Thespian Playwriting Competition's first ever perfect score on playwriting submission, with her one act, Off the Rails. She is currently directing the project to be performed at the Oregon Thespians State Conference. She's very excited to be part of Little Women, and is grateful to work with such a stellar company of people.

+Elliot is a member of S&F's Youth Ensemble

This is Haddie’s first show at Struts &Frets! She has played Jane in Pride and Prejudice and her latest role at Dallas High School was Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. She is currently a senior at Dallas High School. She is an avid sushi consumer. Once she graduates, she hopes to attend CAE Flight School in Arizona. You can find her at @haddie_leigh on Instagram.

This is Brandon’s second season at S&F theatre; he has been previously seen in S&F’s production of The Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare as Lord/Officer. Brandon has also been in many DHS productions such as The Yellow Boat, The Wizard of Oz, Peter and the Starcatcher, and many more. He is currently getting into the hobby of plant keeping having a total of six plant children now.

Terry is a PNW based director, actor, musician and technician. This is his third show with S&F. He was in The Winter’s Tale and did the lighting design for Anatomy of Gray. His directing credits include Peter and the Starcatcher, DHS; comment below, NYC. Assistant Directing: A Persistent Memory, Off-Bway; Jack, Off-Bway. He also directed readings and workshops in NYC. Select performances include: The Lightning Thief, Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, OCT;  Baseball Saved Us, 5th Ave's Adventure Musical Theatre; Cambodian Rock Band, OSF; We Are Not Free, audiobook. He is a company member of Theatre Diaspora, a Portland based AAPI theatre company. He lives in the Willamette Valley with his partner, Hannah and their silly puppy Daphne.

*Terry is a member of S&F's Resident Company

This is Grace's first season with S&F, and she is excited to be joining the company of Little Women! Grace is an Oregon based stage manager and intimacy coordinator. She is a graduate of Western Oregon University's Technical Theatre BFA program, where she was the stage manager for The Laramie Project and The Theory of Relativity. She also trained under Jeb Burris in intimacy coordination during her time at WOU, and was the assistant director for She Kills Monsters. Recent stage management credits include Shakespeare in Love (Stage Manager) at Valley Shakespeare Company, R+H's Cinderella (Assistant Stage Manager) at Broadway Rose Theatre Company, James and the Giant Peach (Assistant Stage Manager) at Enlightened Theatrics, and Maria de Buenos Aires/Melt (Stage Manager) at Rainbow Dance Theatre. This is Grace's 2nd season with S&F! She first appeared in A Winter's Tale as a Youth Ensemble member and now is back for more fun. Grace has been in 9 different productions and hopes to be in many, many more! Some of her favorite performance credits include Slank in Peter and the Starcatcher and  Rosse/Witch in Macbeth. Along with acting, Grace has the gift of being able to puppeteer many critters, including her current role of Toto in The Wizard of Oz. She is a sophomore in high school who homeschools and goes to Dallas High School part time.This allows her the chance to meet all sorts of wonderful people and learn how to manage her time wisely. She loves to read fantasy and historical fiction whenever she has a spare moment. Grace lives in Dallas, Oregon with her family and two "angelic" dogs.

+Grace is a member of S&F's Youth Ensemble

This is E's second production with S&F, having previously performed in The Winter's Tale as the Jailer and ensemble. They can normally be seen in Dallas High School's productions, including  The Wizard of Oz as Uncle Henry, both in Peter and the Starcatcher and Cinderella as ensemble, and in Macbeth as Lennox. Next up they'll be heading to the Oregon State Thespians Festival, where they and their group scene have been chosen to compete! 

E's a sophomore at DHS, and spends their free time playing Skyrim and writing. When they're not acting with their peers, or engaging in various other hobbies, they also enjoy being involved in the more technical side of theatre, including prop and sound design. Kolby is a senior at Dallas High School. His favorite productions he's worked on are Peter and the Starcatcher as Alf, The Wizard of Oz as Tin Man, and smaller one act production titles including 100 Things I Never Said to You and Off the Rails by DHS Theatre's Elliot Grass.

Once he graduates, he will be attending George Fox University to study medicine as a biochemistry major and honors student in the fall. He hopes to continue to do theatre at George Fox.
