Patrick Page - Jacob Marley

Patrick was most recently seen as Hades in Hadestown, for which he was nominated for the 2019 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. Other selected Broadway credits include The Inquisitor in Saint Joan, Adult Men in Spring Awakening, Valentina in Casa Valentina, De Guiche in Cyrano De Bergerac, The Green Goblin/Norman Osborn in Spider- Man: Turn Off the Dark, The Grinch in How the Grinch Stole Christmas,  Scar in The Lion King, and Lumière in Beauty and the Beast, to name a few. Patrick has worked regionally at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, La Jolla Playhouse, the Papermill Playhouse, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and the Seattle Repertory Theatre, in addition to many others.

Patrick is also a playwright. His play Swansong, which premiered at The Lucille Lortel White Barn Theatre in Westport, was nominated for Best New Play by The American Theatre Critics’ Association, was chosen by The New York City Summer Play Festival to play on Theatre Row in July 2006, and has received numerous regional productions. His adaptation of A Christmas Carol is a perennial favorite in the Pacific Northwest.

Jeff Sanders - Scrooge

Jeff is absolutely chuffed to be making his third appearance with Struts & Frets,
having played the dual roles of Richard Burbage and Henry Garnet in Equivocation and the title role in
Cymbeline. Most recently seen in Terrence McNalley’s Full Frontal Nudity for Verona Studio for which he
won the regional AACT Best Acting award. In his four decades of theatre in the Willamette Valley Jeff has
directed and acted in productions by Shakespeare, Alan Ayckbourn, Molière, Arthur Miller, Sarah Ruhl,
John Patrick Shanley, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Frank Loesser, Rupert Holmes and many others. He
lives with his brilliant, supportive partner Christa and four amazing children and not nearly close enough to his
wonderful and supportive adult son, Michael.

Jeff Baer - The Storyteller

This is Jeff's 3rd season with S&F.  Last year, he appeared as Nick Bottom in S&F's A Midsummer Night's Dream.  A 35 year veteran of the stage, Jeff's most recent professional credit is from Elsinore Theatre's production of A Christmas Story as The Old Man, in its original run in 2018, reprised for a 2nd run in 2019.  Jeff is a Language Arts teacher at Dallas High School in Dallas, Oregon.

Kent Wilson - Bob Cratchit

Kent is very excited and honored to be a part of this reading! Most of his theater involvement involves being underneath the stage conducting in playing in pit orchestras for shows. Previous on stage role was Sebastian in Pentacle Theatre's The Little Mermaid.  He is currently the Music and Theatre teacher at Salem Academy. 

Robert Salberg (he/him) - Fred/Young Scrooge

Robert is excited to make his Struts & Frets debut in A Christmas Carol. For the past 19 years Robert has been a teacher at Howard Street Charter School (drama/fitness) and the Executive Director of Children's Educational Theatre. He serves as the vice-chair of the Marion Cultural Development Corporation and organization that provides small grants for Marion County cultural non profits. He's been seen at Pentacle Theatre in various roles as both an actor and director.

Claire Snyder - The Ghost of Christmas Past

This is Claire’s second season with Struts & Frets. She is a local social justice activist and was most recently seen onstage as Macy in The Cake at Pentacle Theater earlier this year. Additional credits include Struts & Frets A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Enchanted April with Keizer Homegrown Theater. 

Jeff Witt (he/him) - Fezziwig/Ghost of Christmas Present/Business Man 1

This is Jeff's second season with S&F, having appeared as Theseus in the 2019 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Jeff has also appeared in many leading roles at Pentacle Theatre, including Valjean in Les Miserables, Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden, and Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors. Jeff is a teacher at Central High School, where he teaches choir and theatre. 

Kelli Jaecks (she/her) – Mrs. Cratchit/Charity Woman 2/ Mrs. Dilber

Kelli has performed on Salem stages for over 30 years and is excited to be debuting with Struts & Frets. Her most recent credits include Tanya in Mama Mia!, Violet Newstead in Nine to Five, Chris in Calendar Girls, and Roxie Hart in Chicago at Pentacle Theatre, and Love, Loss & What I Wore with Verona Studio. Hannah Fawcett (she/her) - Fred's Wife/ Laundress/Charity Woman 1

This is Hannah's 5th season with S&F. She is the Artistic Director of the company and was last seen on its stage as Imogen in S&F's 2018 production of Cymbeline. Her most recent credits include As You Like It and Polar Bears, Black Boys & Prairie Fringed Orchids at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. She is currently working as a Guest Artist at the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Dylan Bauman (he/him) - Boy Scrooge/Peter Cratchit/Topper

This is Dylan's 3rd season with S&F. His last performance with S&F was in A Midsummer Night's Dream where he portrayed Demetrius. His most recent credits include First Date and The Rocky Horror Show with Enlightened Theatrics. He is a student at Chemeketa Community College and is an employee at Dutch Brothers in Monmouth, Oregon.

Maddie Blanchard (she/her) - Fan/Martha Cratchit 

This is Maddie’s 3rd season with S&F! She was last seen on its stage as Tom Snout in S&F’s 2019 production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Her most recent credits include 29 and Asking Strangers About The Meaning of Life at the University of Wyoming - where she is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre.

Bryce Hayes (he/him) - Joe/Boy/Businessman 2

This is Bryce’s 2nd season with Struts & Frets. He was invited into his first appearance with the company in 2019 as Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. His most recent theatrical works include Romeo and Juliet and A Christmas Carol at Dallas High School. He also has music performance history with the Salem Symphonic Winds at the Elsinore Theatre, with concerts such as A Taste of Spain and 1805: A Town’s Tale

Ben Memmott  - Tim Cratchit 

This is Ben’s first production with Struts & Frets. He has performed in school plays and enjoys comedy, plays the saxophone, and enjoys spending time with his three cats. He is an eighth grader at Howard Street Charter School.
